🏥 German for Nurses — The Complete Anerkennung Pathway

Nursing is a regulated profession in Germany. Before you can work as a qualified nurse, your Indian qualification must be officially recognised through the Anerkennung process. German language proficiency is central to every step of this journey — from document submission to your first day on the ward.
💡 Why German language is non-negotiable for nurses: Germany's patient population communicates almost exclusively in German. As a nurse, you need to accurately understand symptoms, convey them to colleagues, follow medical instructions, and document patient care — all in German. Insufficient language proficiency risks wrong diagnosis, medication errors, and patient harm. German medical authorities require B2 precisely because of this patient safety standard.

Step-by-Step: How to Become a Nurse in Germany
